This Privacy Policy explains what data Finance Pulse collects when you visit finance-pulse24.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We aim to keep this short and readable rather than exhaustive.
What we collect
- Analytics data via Google Analytics 4: page URL, referrer, session duration, device type, approximate location (country/city from IP). No personally identifying information is collected unless you send it to us voluntarily.
- Theme preference, stored in your browser's localStorage. Never sent to our servers.
- Cookie-consent choice, stored in your browser's localStorage. Never sent to our servers.
- Email address, if you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter (the signup form is currently inactive).
- Contact messages, if you email us directly. We retain them for the time needed to respond.
What we don't collect
- No account system, no passwords, no payment data.
- No tracking pixels beyond Google Analytics.
- No advertising cookies (ads are not active on the site).
Third parties
- Google Analytics — usage statistics. You can opt out via the cookie banner or browser extensions.
- Upstream data providers (Yahoo Finance, World Bank, FRED, stock exchanges) — we fetch public market data from them; no information about you is passed to them.
Your rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and equivalent laws you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Data retention
Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics per its default retention (14 months). Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are retained for up to 24 months after last response.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date at the top of the page.
